Band History

The story of Asura Falls began in 2014 — not in a rehearsal room, but during lively nights of drinks, backyard parties, and long evenings filled with music. Guitarists Cons and Schosch, who at the time were playing in different bands and exploring different musical worlds, always had one thing in common: their guitars. Whenever they got together, original riffs, spontaneous song ideas, and high-energy covers naturally took shape, entertaining everyone around them. It quickly became clear that something far greater than just a pastime was beginning to emerge.

Inspired by bands like Killswitch Engage and Parkway Drive, the idea of creating a band of their own began to take shape. No sooner said than done: together with Alex on drums and Thomas on bass, the first lineup of Asura Falls was formed. Shortly afterwards, Basti joined as the vocalist, completing the band and making them ready to take the stage.

The first live performances soon followed. In 2015, Asura Falls made their live debut at "Möwa Rockt." This was followed by numerous band contests and performances at youth centers, where the band built a reputation with a steadily growing catalog of original songs while gaining valuable live experience.

Over the following years, Asura Falls continued to evolve. Lineup changes shaped the band's journey, and their sound steadily matured. After Thomas' departure, Sueri took over on bass and has remained a dedicated and essential member of the band ever since. A major turning point came in 2018 when founding guitarist Schosch left the band. However, Jonas soon joined the lineup, bringing exceptional technical skill and strong musicality, along with fresh ideas and renewed creative energy.

Things did not always run smoothly, however. The band repeatedly struggled with a lack of permanent members—especially when it came to vocals and drums. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the situation became even more challenging, as finding new musicians was almost impossible. Nevertheless, the band refused to give up. During this difficult period, Dennis joined on drums and Erik came on board as vocalist. Together, they explored new sounds and worked intensively on new material. However, almost two years passed with hardly any live shows and only sporadic rehearsals—a true test of the band's motivation and unity.

After Erik’s departure, Asura Falls once again found themselves without a vocalist. But then came the turning point: during a casting process, the band discovered two exceptional voices. The chemistry was immediate, and with Jenny and Nemo, Asura Falls finally found a vocal duo that perfectly matched the band’s musical vision.

Shortly afterwards, the band faced another unexpected setback: drummer Dennis left Asura Falls. But once again, the band showed their resilience. With Erasmus, they found a drummer whose technical skills and powerful beats elevated the band’s sound to a new level — and who remains an integral part of Asura Falls to this day.

Today, Asura Falls stands as a band that has never given up despite facing numerous setbacks. Driven by passion, unity, and constant evolution, their story is proof that true music is born from perseverance, friendship, and an unwavering determination to keep moving forward — no matter how challenging the journey may be.
